Imilain

Imilain sunflower is a high-yielding, mid-ripening hybrid developed by Nertus Agro, a company specializing in hybrid sunflower and corn seed production since 2010. Imilain seeds are produced under strict spatial isolation, ensuring high quality and genetic purity. The hybrid was registered in 2019 and was developed in collaboration with scientific institutions, confirming its reliability and innovation.

Imilain hybrid has a vegetation period of 114–116 days and an average plant height of 170–180 cm. The sunflower head is slightly convex, with a diameter of 25–27 cm, and the seeds are small, with a 1000-seed mass of 65–68 g. Its yield potential reaches 35–45 c/ha, and oil content in the seeds ranges from 49 to 52%. The hybrid exhibits high resistance to various diseases, including Phomopsis, rust, false powdery mildew, gray mold, as well as sunflower moth and ragweed (7 races A-G). Additionally, it is resistant to drought, lodging, and shattering, making it a reliable choice for cultivation under challenging climatic conditions.

It is recommended to grow Imilain sunflower using the "Clean Field" technology with insurance herbicides Euro Lang and Euro Land. Suitable cultivation zones cover the Steppe and Forest-Steppe regions of Ukraine, where the optimal plant density is 40–45 thousand plants per hectare in the Steppe and 50–55 thousand in the Forest-Steppe. Thanks to its high oil content and resistance to pests and diseases, Imilain hybrid is a profitable and effective solution for farmers aiming to obtain high-quality and stable sunflower yields.
