Description P 64 HE 118
Sunflower P64 HE 118 is a mid-season high-oleic hybrid developed by the Pioneer® seed brand. It features a long vegetation period of approximately 117-118 days and medium plant height. The hybrid is intended for oilseed production and is characterized by a high oleic acid content in seeds, reaching up to 86-88%, which ensures high-quality oil.

This hybrid exhibits high resistance to five races of dodder (A-E) and tolerance to major sunflower diseases such as downy mildew, white stem and head rot, verticillium wilt, and leaflet wilting. Despite susceptibility to Phomopsis, P64 HE 118 demonstrates good drought resistance and lodging resistance, making it suitable for cultivation in the Steppe and Forest-Steppe zones.

To achieve maximum yield, which can range from 31.4 to 51.9 centners per hectarafter trials, it is recommended to follow the ExpressSun® agronomy with the application of herbicides Grantar/Express. Optimal plant stand density before harvest depends on regional moisture levels and ranges from 45 to 55 thousand plants per hectare. The hybrid is successfully cultivated in the Central Black Earth and North Caucasus regions, including Voronezh, Lipetsk, and Rostov oblasts.
