COBALT 2

COBALT 2 is an early-maturing high-oleic sunflower hybrid developed using Clearfield® technology, which ensures effective weed control and allows the crop to be grown in all regions of Ukraine. The seeds are black and treated with high-quality fungicides and insecticides, which helps protect the plants from pests and diseases at the early stages of development. The hybrid is characterized by high plasticity, which allows adjusting sowing dates to various climatic conditions and soil types, ensuring stable and high yields.

COBALT 2 is characterized by high resistance to drought, cold, and major sunflower diseases such as stem rot, white mold, NBR, and phoma. Plants have medium height and demonstrate excellent agronomic indicators: intensity of initial growth, uniform flowering, lodging resistance, as well as strong stems and roots. The high content of oleic acid in the oil (up to 90%) makes this hybrid particularly valuable for the production of high-quality oil with improved technological properties.

The yield potential of COBALT 2 ranges from 3.4 to 5.4 tons per hectare, with a recommended sowing rate of 50-60 thousand seeds per hectare. Maturity group — early, with a maturation period of 93-102 days. High yield and oil quality make this hybrid an attractive choice for agrarians seeking a stable and profitable sunflower crop.
