NS Fantazia sunflower is a high-yielding hybrid developed by Serbian breeding and registered in the State Register of Ukraine since 2015. This mid-season variety is characterized by a vegetation period of 112-117 days and is suitable for cultivation in the steppe and forest-steppe zones, as well as on various soil types. Plants reach a height of 170-180 cm, have an average stem thickness, and a medium-deep root system. Sunflower heads are convex-shaped with a diameter of 22-24 cm; seeds are black in color with an elongated shape and hulling rate of 20-22%. The NS Fantazia hybrid exhibits high resistance to a range of diseases, including five strains of Sclerotinia, powdery mildew, Phoma, Cercospora, black stem rot, rust, and sunflower moth. Furthermore, it demonstrates high drought tolerance, resistance to lodging and shattering, ensuring stable yield even under complex climatic conditions. Genetic resistance to diseases and adaptation to adverse factors make this hybrid a reliable choice for farmers. NS Fantazia belongs to the group of high-oleic hybrids with high oil content in seeds, reaching 48-50%. Potential yield exceeds 45 ц/га. The hybrid is characterized by intense growth and high leafiness, which promotes effective photosynthesis and development. It is also attractive to pollinating insects, which improves pollination and crop quality. To achieve maximum results, proper care is recommended, including treatment against pests and weeds, as the hybrid responds well to most pesticides and herbicides.
