SB 143

Soybean variety SB 143 is an ultra-early maturing type with a vegetative period of about 85 days and high yield potential, reaching 37-40 centners per hectare. This variety is distinguished by high resistance to adverse conditions, diseases, lodging, and pod cracking, ensuring reliable and stable yields. Plants reach a height of 80 to 110 cm, with lower pods attached at a height of 12-15 cm, and seed weight per 1000 seeds is 143 g. Protein content in the seeds reaches 42%, making this variety especially valuable for protein product production.

SB 143 is recommended for cultivation in various agroclimatic zones of Ukraine, including Forest-steppe, Polissia, and Steppe. Recommended seeding density is 700-800 thousand seeds per hectare, with row spacing ranging from 12.5 to 30 cm. The stem of this variety is erect, branched, with black-colored stem nodes, which facilitates identification and care of the plants. Due to high resistance to diseases and adverse conditions, this variety is a reliable predecessor for winter crops.

Moreover, SB 143 soybean seeds are suitable for germination, allowing for the production of highly nutritious and vitamin-rich sprouts within 3-4 days. This method of cultivation does not require complex conditions and can be performed even at home, for example, in a glass jar or plate.
