Sayad

Sayad sunflower is a mid-early hybrid with high drought resistance and resistance to various diseases, including downy mildew and several races of pathogens (A–G). This hybrid shows enhanced resistance to herbicides such as Evolighting and Express, facilitating weed control of broadleaf weeds after emergence and enabling the use of modern crop protection technologies. Sayad is recommended for cultivation in moderately and insufficiently watered zones, including steppe and forest-steppe regions, as well as areas with low infection risk of Phomopsis.

The Sayad hybrid has high genetic yield potential, which is particularly evident under intensive and moderately intensive cultivation technologies. Plants are characterized by vigorous vegetative mass and medium height, contributing to resilience against stress conditions such as drought and heat. Due to its adaptability to various agronomic practices, including No-till, Strip-till, and Mini-till, this sunflower demonstrates stability and high productivity even under challenging climatic conditions.

One of the key features of the Sayad hybrid is its high oil content, reaching 47–54%, making it attractive for producing high-quality oil. Its mid-early vegetation period allows the hybrid to fit well into crop rotation and ensure timely harvest. The recommended planting density is 40,000 to 55,000 plants per hectare, which optimizes resource use and maximizes crop returns.
