Sorrel SEMYONOVNA

Semyonovna is a perennial sorrel plant with high cold hardiness and an early maturity period. The leaves of this variety have an egg-shaped form, light green color, slightly or moderately blistered surface, and a smooth (or slightly wavy) edge. They are large, juicy, and tender, making them especially valuable as early vitamin greens.

Key advantages of Semyonovna include resistance to bolting, high vitamin content, and excellent frost hardiness. Thanks to these properties, the plant is easy to grow in various climatic conditions and can be used throughout the year.

In cooking, seymonovna is used as fresh greens for first courses, pie fillings, and salads. In cold weather, leaves can be canned or salted, preserving their nutritional properties for a long time.
