RGT LLUIS sunflower is a mid-maturing, high-oleic hybrid developed by RAGT Semences in France. It has a vegetation period of approximately 110-115 days and is suitable for cultivation in areas with sufficient, moderate, and insufficient moisture, including the Polissya, Forest-Steppe, and Steppe regions. Seeds are supplied in packages of 150,000 units, allowing sowing of areas from 2.2 to 2.5 hectares. The hybrid is characterized by high yield potential up to 5.1 t/ha and drought, lodging, and stress tolerance. RGT LLUIS exhibits high tolerance to a broad spectrum of diseases, including fomopsis, fomosis, rust, box rot, and false powdery mildew, ensuring stable yield and reduced risk of losses. Lodging resistance scores 9 out of 9, and drought tolerance scores 8, making this variety a reliable choice for regions with variable moisture. The hybrid is also resistant to various races of the parasitic weed volunteer (A-G), broadening its application potential. A distinctive feature of the variety is its high oil content in seeds — from 50 to 56% — with high oleic acid levels exceeding 88%, ensuring high quality and premium pricing of the produced oil. Seeds are treated with Maxim XL and Poncho, and the Express SX herbicide protection technology ensures effective control of broadleaf weeds after emergence. Balanced plant height and agronomic characteristics make RGT LLUIS a versatile and promising hybrid for modern agrotechnologies.
