Sunflower P64LE99 is an intensive mid-season simple hybrid of linoleic type with a vegetative period of about 124 days. Developed using ExpressSun technology, it is intended for cultivation under the herbicide Granstar. The hybrid features high yield potential, reaching up to 52 centners per hectare, and high oil content in seeds — approximately 52%. Plants grow to a height of about 180 cm, have a uniform and evenly filled head, and the 1000-seed weight is around 63 grams. Flowering and maturation period lasts about 49 days, ensuring stable yield formation.

Hybrid P64LE99 exhibits high resistance to various diseases and stress factors. It demonstrates excellent tolerance to new races of downy mildew, as well as to common leaf, stem, and head diseases. Special attention is given to resistance to five races (A-E) and System II of the Russian sunflower moth, significantly reducing the risk of damage by this pest. Additionally, the sunflower shows high resistance to fusarium, fusarium wilt, stem and head rot, verticillium wilt, and leaf drop, making it a reliable choice for various agroclimatic conditions.

The hybrid is characterized by high drought tolerance and good lodging resistance due to its robust root system. It is adaptable to various growing conditions and is recommended for Steppe and Forest-Steppe zones of Ukraine. Recommended plant density at harvest varies depending on conditions: 45-50 thousand plants per hectare under unfavorable conditions, and 50-55 thousand under favorable conditions. The maximum single application rate of the herbicide Express® 75 g/kg is 50 grams. All these characteristics make P64LE99 an effective and resilient hybrid for obtaining high-quality sunflower yields.
