Nova

Sunflower Nova is a mid-early hybrid of Ukrainian selection, adapted for Clearfield technology, providing resistance to imidazolinone herbicides. This hybrid is suitable for cultivation in the Forest-Steppe and Steppe zones of Ukraine, as well as under conditions of limited moisture, thanks to its high drought and cold resistance. The vegetation period is approximately 105 days, allowing for a stable and high yield.

Hybrid Nova is characterized by high yield, reaching up to 5 tons per hectare, and high oil content in seeds — from 47% to 52% — making it profitable for oilseed production. Plants have a strong root system, promoting rapid growth and resistance to lodging. Moreover, the hybrid demonstrates resistance to a broad spectrum of diseases, including downy mildew (several races), verticillium, sclerotinia, fusarium, phomopsis, and powdery mildew, significantly reducing the risk of yield losses.

Nova is suitable for intensive cultivation and is recommended for use in agronomic technologies employing Clearfield herbicides. Thanks to its characteristics, this hybrid is a reliable choice for farmers aiming to obtain high-quality and stable sunflower yields under various climatic conditions in Ukraine.
