Soybean variety VIR 14, also known as Vityazh 50, is a medium-maturing variety included in the State Register for the Far Eastern and North Caucasian regions. This variety is distinguished by its lodging resistance and high nitrogen-fixing ability, which contributes to improved quality and yield. The protein content in dry green mass varies from 5.9 to 23.5%, while oil content ranges from 21 to 24%, making this variety attractive for producing high-nutrient products.
The yield of the VIR 14 variety reaches 3.5–4.0 tons per hectare with irrigation, and maximum indicators can reach 4.5 tons per hectare. The variety was developed and bred by the Far Eastern Experimental Station of VNIIR, confirming its adaptation to the climatic conditions of the aforementioned regions. The medium maturation period allows for effective planning of agrotechnical measures and crop harvesting.
VIR 14 is characterized by good resistance to unfavorable environmental factors, ensuring crop stability.
