Lynx

Soybean variety Lynx is a medium early, semi-determinate and large-seeded variety characterized by high cold and frost resistance down to minus 5 °C. This variety has low reaction to day length, which allows successful cultivation in various climatic conditions including North Caucasus and Lower Volga regions, as well as the Central Asian republics and Transcaucasia at latitudes from 40 to 50°. Plant height reaches 90–109 cm, while weight of 1000 seeds ranges from 165 to 207 g, indicating large seed size and high yield potential.

Lynx is distinguished by its high resistance to diseases and pests including downy mildew, fusarium wilt, ascochyta leaf spot, bacterial blight, and gray mold rot, ensuring stable yields and reducing the need for intensive plant protection. The variety is also resistant to lodging and responds well to additional moisture, which promotes increased seed size and weight. Potential yield of this variety reaches 45 c/ha, with an oil content of seeds at 22%, and protein content reaching 43%, making it attractive for the production of high-quality soybean raw materials.

Created as part of the national project “Science and Universities”, Lynx has gained recognition due to its high productivity and adaptability to harsh growing conditions. The name of the variety reflects its endurance and resemblance in color to the fur of a lynx - an animal adapted to difficult natural conditions. Thanks to its unique characteristics, this soybean variety is a promising choice for soybean producing farms seeking stable and high yields in diverse climatic zones.
