Description PRIMORSKAYA 69
PRIMORSKAYA 69 is a mid-early soybean (Glycine max (L.) Merr.) variety with a growing period of up to 117 days, which allows it to be cultivated in various climatic conditions, including northern soybean-growing zones. The plant is determinate or semi-determinate, compact, of medium height (70–80 cm), with strong foliage and grey pubescence on the stem. Leaves are oval-elongated with a pointed tip, flowers are small and white, and pods are brown with sparse pubescence. Seeds are light yellow, round, with a smooth and glossy surface; the mass of 1000 seeds varies from 139 to 201.8 g depending on growing conditions.

The variety is characterized by high yield — from 13.4 to 18.9 centners per hectare, as well as high protein content (from 35.7 to 40.8%) and fat content (from 18.9 to 22.2%), which makes it attractive for producing high-quality raw materials. PRIMORSKAYA 69 is resistant to lodging (9 out of 10 points) and pod cracking (8 out of 10 points), ensuring crop preservation under adverse weather conditions and during delays. The variety is suitable for mechanized cultivation, which facilitates agronomic processes.

However, under artificial infection, the variety shows high susceptibility to septoria, downy mildew, and root rots, which requires careful monitoring and application of protective measures. It is recommended for cultivation in various regions of Russia, including Tula and Kurgan regions, Krasnodar and Krasnoyarsk krais. Studies conducted in the agroclimatic conditions of the Primorsky Krai confirm the high productivity of the variety and its potential for use in breeding to create resistant and high-yielding hybrid lines.
