The Manitoba soybean variety belongs to group I and is characterized by a mid-season vegetative period of 100 to 125 days, ensuring flexibility in planting dates and adaptation to various climatic conditions. The plant is indeterminate type with purple flowers and lanceolate leaves. Pods are light brown with a yellow scar; the thousand-seed weight is 238 grams. Stem height reaches 90-130 cm, with lower pods located at a height of 15-20 cm. The recommended sowing density ranges from 400 to 550 thousand seeds per hectare depending on moisture and irrigation conditions, with a row spacing of 35-56 cm and a sowing depth of 2-4 cm at soil temperatures above 10°C. MANITOBA is distinguished by its high protein content (about 41-42% dry matter) and oil (21.6%), making this variety attractive for producing products with high nutritional and energy potential. The variety demonstrates high drought tolerance and cold hardiness, allowing for successful cultivation on various soil types and in different regions. An active start in the initial growth phases promotes good plant development and formation of a high yield, which can reach up to 75 centners per hectare.
