Champignon F 60 is a fresh mushroom grown in Ukraine in March and April. It is stored at temperatures from +2 °C to +6 °C and retains its properties for 3–5 days. Its internal composition is characterized by low carbohydrate content (0.1 g), moderate protein (4.3 g), and a small amount of fat (1 g). Caloric value is 27 kcal per 100 g of product. The mushroom is rich in B group vitamins and beneficial fatty acids, making it a valuable addition to the diet.
The shape and appearance of the champignon correspond to the classic characteristics of the two-spored Agaricus bisporus species. The cap has a diameter of 8 to 15 cm, initially round, then opening up; brown scales and remnants of the veil appear as it matures. The cap color is white, gradually browning in damaged areas. The gills are thin, initially white, then pink and brown with a lilac hue. The stem is 3 to 10 cm long, cylindrical in shape, smooth, hollow-free, colored like the cap but darkens at the base.
Culinarily, champignon F 60 is suitable for fresh consumption. Its firm flesh is aromatic and sturdy, turning slightly pink when cut. The mushroom pairs easily with various dishes: from salads to hot dishes, thanks to its neutral taste and texture. With proper storage, it retains freshness and nutritional properties for several days, making it convenient for everyday cooking.
