Description F 599
F 599 is a productive mushroom strain (Agaricus bisporus) characterized by medium-large mushrooms with a smooth white cap and dense flesh. Due to its high quality and long shelf life, this variety is ideal for fresh market sales, where freshness and aesthetic appeal are valued.

During cultivation, the F 599 strain demonstrates three distinct fruiting waves. The total cycle duration from inoculation to harvest of the third wave is approximately 45-49 days, while the period from full mycelial maturity to the start of fruiting is about 28 days. The optimal fruiting temperature is 17 °C, at which mushrooms reach a fruit body length of up to 50 mm and a cap width of 30-40 mm. The average weight of one fruit is approximately 25 g, and the yield across three waves is 37-40 kg/m².

Strain F 599 is distinguished by high resistance to various growing conditions: it tolerates changes in ventilation, humidity, and temperature well, and is resistant to black and white mold, micrognomone, bacterial and viral diseases. Thanks to these properties, it can be used both in home and industrial production, including mushroom processing for ready-made dishes and canning.
