Joice F1 lettuce is a medium-maturing hybrid of head lettuce of the Iceberg type, developed by the breeding company Bejo Zaden. The vegetation period is 52-55 days after transplanting seedlings into open ground, allowing it to be grown both in spring and autumn. The plant forms round, slightly flattened heads weighing about 750 grams, with wide light-green or dark-green leaves that have a crisp texture and no bitterness. The plant height reaches approximately 40 cm, and the head diameter reaches up to 30 cm.

The hybrid is highly resistant to adverse conditions such as cold and drought, and it has high immunity to several diseases, including false powdery mildew, black rot, and septoria. Additionally, the lettuce is resistant to bolting and pest damage, ensuring a stable and high-quality yield. The heads maintain their market appearance on the root for a long time, do not crack, and do not lose freshness, making the variety attractive for fresh market sales.
