CHALLENGE

The Challenge lettuce is a late-heading loose-leaf variety characterized by a semi-upright rosette of leaves with a diameter of about 30 cm. The medium-sized leaves have a yellowish-green hue, a bubbly texture, and a wavy edge, giving the plant an attractive appearance. The head of this variety is flat-round and medium density, which ensures ease of use and storage.

This lettuce variety boasts high yields reaching 3.8 kg per square meter, making it advantageous for cultivation in both personal household plots and for commercial purposes. Challenge is resistant to downy mildew and lettuce mosaic virus, which significantly reduces the risk of crop loss and minimizes the need for chemical protection.
