KUBANSKHY MS 91 is a single-seed diploid hybrid of sugar beet (Beta vulgaris L. ssp. vulgaris var. saccharifera Alef.) on a Z-type sterile basis, developed by SESVANDERHAVE LLC. The hybrid is characterized by late maturity and single-stem growth, ensuring high productivity and stable yield. It is intended for cultivation in various regions, including the North Caucasian, Central Black Earth, and Urals, where it demonstrates good yield and root quality indicators.
In the North Caucasian region, KUBANSKHY MS 91 shows an average root yield of about 435–486 c/ha with sugar content of 17.5–17.8%, enabling sugar collection up to 84.7 c/ha. Root mass in this region reaches 549 g. In the Urals, yield is about 280 c/ha, with root mass around 280 g. The hybrid has high resistance to cercosporosis and demonstrates weak damage from root-eating insects and powdery mildew, reducing the need for chemical protection and enhancing cultivation eco-friendliness.
KUBANSKHY MS 91 is also characterized by drought resistance, making it particularly valuable for regions with variable climatic conditions. Thanks to its characteristics, the hybrid is widely used in enterprises of the North Caucasus and other regions, ensuring stable and high sugar beet yield with high sugar content. This makes it a profitable choice for producers focused on quality and production efficiency.
