Aidar

Aidar is an early bush-type hybrid sugar beet that forms roots as early as day 40-42 after emergence. The plant is medium-height, open, and highly productive, ensuring high yields of 8-14 kg per square meter. The roots have a cylindrical shape, dark green color, and glossy surface, with white flesh that is dense and tender. Due to its high sugar content, the hybrid has excellent taste qualities and is suitable for both fresh consumption and processing. Aidar exhibits high resistance to major disease pathogens, making it a reliable choice for cultivation. The hybrid has a prolonged fruiting period and resistance to diseases such as rhizomania, cercospora, and powdery mildew. Additionally, the plant shows moderate drought tolerance and adaptability, enabling successful cultivation on various soil types and in different climatic conditions within the sugar beet belt. High resistance to nematodes allows Aidar to be grown even on nematode-infested areas. For sowing, prepared soil and specialized sugar beet seeders are recommended. The optimal seeding rate is 95-110 thousand germinated seeds per hectare, and sowing should be conducted when soil temperature reaches the optimal level. Thanks to its wide-conical root shape, harvesting becomes more technologically efficient. The leaves are large, green, and held on medium-sized petioles, which also facilitates agricultural operations.
