Rose Magic

Resilience Meets Elegance: The 'Magia' Rose by Nova Hollandia

In the world of Hybrid Tea roses, the search for the perfect bud shape often comes at the cost of hardiness. The 'Magia' rose from Nova Hollandia defies this convention. Designed for growers who demand both aesthetic perfection and robust performance, this variety is characterized by its exceptional ability to withstand harsh conditions, including winters as cold as -35°C.

Key Advantages of 'Magia'

• Superior Disease Resistance: One of the most significant challenges in rose cultivation is fungal infection. 'Magia' shows remarkable resistance to Mycosphaerella leaf spot, powdery mildew, and brown spot. This means fewer chemical treatments and a healthier-looking plant throughout the entire season.
• Impressive Architecture: With a bush height ranging from 80 to 200 cm and a width of 50-100 cm, 'Magia' offers great versatility. Whether planted as a solitary feature or integrated into complex mixed borders, its size provides a dramatic vertical impact.
• Classic Beauty: The cupped, double-flowered structure paired with a deep burgundy hue creates the premium look associated with high-end Hybrid Tea roses. The 7-10 cm bloom size is ideal for both garden display and cut flower arrangements.

Who is this variety for?

'Magia' is the ideal choice for those who value efficiency in the garden without compromising on visual impact. It is a preferred option for professional landscape designers working in challenging climates and for hobbyist gardeners who want a low-maintenance, reliable burgundy rose. With a subtle, unobtrusive fragrance and high tolerance for common diseases, it takes the 'stress' out of rose gardening. While it requires basic pruning to maintain its stature, its lack of significant weaknesses makes it a standout performer in the Nova Hollandia collection.
