Rose Ruice1377a

Engineering Excellence in "Ruytse1377a" Breeding

The "Ruytse1377a" variety from the Dutch breeding center De Ruiter Intellectual Property represents a high-tech solution in the shrub rose segment. Unlike traditional hybrid tea forms, the focus here is placed on structural architecture and the biophysical parameters of flowering.

Morphological Stability and Habit

Compact shrub size (40-60 cm in height) makes this variety ideal for both container gardening and dense landscape bedding. The built-in genetic resistance to pathogens reduces the need for frequent fungicide applications, which is vital for maintaining aesthetic appeal without excessive chemical intervention.

Flower Biometrics

The 5-7 cm bud size is optimized for rapid post-harvest recovery. The double-flowered, dense petal structure ensures high durability during transport and long-lasting freshness in floral arrangements. The lack of fragrance is a strategic design choice, minimizing attraction of insect pests and making the variety suitable for scent-sensitive environments.

Color Profile

The variety's uniqueness lies in its deep, multi-faceted palette combining red, burgundy, and yellow pigments. This combination requires balanced fertilization to fully express its complex hues. In practical cultivation, "Ruytse1377a" demonstrates remarkable color stability even under moderate precipitation, validating the precision standards of De Ruiter’s laboratories.
