The Aliska Rose is a modern breed of tea-hybrid roses, created by breeder Zinaida Konstantinovna Klimenko and first introduced in 2020. The flowers of this variety are characterized by a creamy-white hue with a pink-red border along the petal edges, which gradually turns carmine over time. The flowers are double, with a diameter of 10-12 cm, consist of 45-50 petals, and are usually solitary or arranged in clusters of 2-3 flowers on sturdy and long stems. The bushes have dark-green, glossy, and dense foliage, and the plant itself is compact, reaching a height of 80-100 cm and a width of 60-70 cm. The rose does not have a pronounced fragrance and is distinguished by high resistance to fungal diseases.
The Aliska variety is excellent for greening and is widely used in landscape design. It is recommended for decorating parterres, creating rabatok, as well as for solitary and group plantings. Due to its compactness and decorative qualities, the rose is successfully used in standard culture and is ideal for cut flowers. Under the conditions of the Southern Coast of Crimea, the variety blooms for more than 200 days per season, demonstrating up to four waves of flowering.
The rose prefers sunny locations and fertile, loose soils. It is resistant to adverse weather conditions, including rain and strong sun, and the flowers do not fade. High resistance to major diseases and frost hardiness down to -29°C make this variety a reliable choice for various climatic conditions. Thanks to its decorative qualities and endurance, the Aliska rose will be a wonderful decoration for the garden and landscape compositions.
