Trapper — an ultra-early hybrid of spring rape, intended for seed production. It is characterized by very early maturation, allowing harvest to begin 5–7 days earlier than other varieties. The hybrid is low-growing, features numerous lateral branches, and has a dense, evenly ripening pod cluster, which contributes to high seed yield and oil content, ensuring high profitability of cultivation.
Trapper exhibits high resistance to lodging and pod cracking, and demonstrates moderate resistance to diseases and drought. Due to these qualities, the hybrid is recommended for cultivation in various regions of Russia, including the Northwestern, Central, Volgo-Vyat, Central Chernozem, Volga, Western Siberian, and Eastern Siberian regions. Its high drought resistance and stable yield make it a reliable choice for farmers.
Trapper is included in the State Register of Selection Achievements of the Russian Federation and is suitable for cultivation under a wide range of climatic conditions. Its features enable efficient use of the hybrid in agronomic technologies aimed at obtaining high-quality, high-yield rape with minimal risk of yield loss.
