LEXION — a mid-early, plastic winter rapeseed hybrid of the new generation, featuring high winter hardiness and adaptability to drought-prone conditions. This hybrid is characterized by a strong, well-developed root system and medium-height plants reaching approximately 138 cm, with the lower branch positioned at 34 cm. The vegetative period lasts 314 days, and flowering occurs at medium timing, which is important to consider when monitoring pests such as the rapeseed flower beetle. LEXION belongs to type 00, meaning it is erucic acid-free and low-glucosinolate, making it safe and high-quality for oil production.

The hybrid demonstrates excellent stable yield and high oil content in seeds — up to 48.3%. The average yield in the Kaliningrad region reaches 49.7 c/ha, significantly exceeding standard benchmarks. LEXION exhibits very good resistance to lodging and pod cracking, allowing harvesting over an extended period, including adverse weather conditions such as rain or hail. This reduces the need for fungicides and growth regulators in the spring.

The hybrid shows enhanced resistance to stem and root neck fusarium due to the presence of the Rlm7 gene, providing additional protection against common diseases. Thanks to its plasticity and high regenerative capacity, LEXION is an ideal choice for producers aiming for reliable and high yields under various climatic conditions.
