Rapeseed is an annual plant of the family Brassicaceae, widely distributed and valuable in agriculture. It is characterized by rapid growth, especially in cool autumn and spring periods, and prefers moist, fertile soils. Rapeseed is an important fodder crop for various farm animals such as cattle, pigs, and sheep, providing them with green mass and hay. Additionally, rapeseed serves as an early spring nectar source, making it useful for beekeeping. In the food industry, rapeseed oil is obtained, which is characterized by high caloric value and beneficial composition comparable to olive oil. This oil is widely used in culinary, cosmetic, and technical industries, highlighting the versatility and value of the crop. To improve crop quality and reduce losses during rapeseed cultivation, the preparation 'Rap-Clay' is used. It prevents premature pod cracking by forming an elastic polymer membrane that protects seeds from falling off. The preparation is safe for the crop and bees, quickly adheres to plants, and is not washed away by rain within one hour after application. Treatment is carried out by aerial methods with a dosage of no less than 50 liters of working solution per hectare, optimally at the initial ripening stage when half of the pods change color from light green to yellow. 'Rap-Clay' is produced in the form of concentrate, which is emulsified, and contains a mixture of adhesive and surfactant substances, packaged in 5-liter containers.
