FORPOST KL is a spring rape (Brassica napus var. napus) type 00 variety, characterized by the absence of erucic acid and low glucosinolate content, making it high-quality and safe for use. The variety belongs to the moderately intensive type and is intended for seed cultivation. Plants reach an average height of 130-140 cm, have a vegetation period of about 97 days, and the 1000-seed mass varies from 3.0 to 4.5 grams. Seeds contain 47-49% oil and 23-26% protein, ensuring high oil content and nutritional value of the product. Glucosinolates in the cake are at low levels — 0.4-0.7%, and erucic acid content is minimal — 0.01-0.05%. The FORPOST KL variety has high resistance to lodging and differs in resistance to a wide range of diseases, including phoma, sclerotinia, alternaria, and new powdery mildew. In addition, it is resistant to imidazolinone herbicides, which allows effective weed control and increased yield. The variety responds well to high agrobackground and starter fertilizers, which contributes to maximum realization of its potential in various agro-climatic conditions. FORPOST KL is successfully grown in various regions of Russia, including the Northwestern, Central, Volga-Vyatka, Central Black Earth, Middle Volga, Ural, Western Siberian, and Eastern Siberian. It demonstrates high productivity even in arid conditions, which is confirmed by yields up to 30.2 centners per hectare in experimental fields. Thanks to its adaptability and seed quality, this variety is an attractive choice for agrarians seeking stable and high rape yields.
