FERNANDO KWS

The rapeseed hybrid FERNANDO KWS is a high-yielding variety with rapid early development and high cold tolerance, allowing sowing at soil temperatures from +7 to +8°C. This hybrid is highly adaptable and suitable for cultivation in various regions, including areas with different moisture levels. The plants are tall and vigorous, with erect leaf type, which promotes good growth and resistance to adverse conditions.

FERNANDO KWS belongs to FAO maturity group 260, corresponding to medium-early maturity. Plant height reaches 270-280 cm, and the height of the head attachment is 120-130 cm. The heads are well-formed, with 14-16 rows of seeds and 40-43 seeds per row. The 1000-seed weight varies from 320 to 340 grams, ensuring high yield potential up to 18 tons per hectare. The hybrid practically does not abort upper seeds, further enhancing both quality and quantity of yield.

Recommended planting density depends on soil moisture level: 75-85 thousand plants per hectare under adequate moisture, 60-70 thousand under moderate moisture, and 45-55 thousand under low moisture. FERNANDO KWS is suitable for cultivation using semi-intensive and intensive technologies, as well as for late harvest. A distinctive feature of the hybrid is very rapid water release, which facilitates harvest and reduces the risk of yield loss.
