MARICHA

Tomato Maricha is an ultra-early salad-type hybrid with a determinate growth habit, reaching a height of 60-70 cm. The plant features simple inflorescences and medium-length dark green leaves. This hybrid is distinguished by its early maturity: the period from germination to the start of ripening is 87-90 days, enabling an early harvest.

The fruits of tomato Maricha are round, smooth, and slightly ribbed, with a dark red color when fully ripe and green when immature. Fruit weight varies from 130 to 150 grams; they are dense and very sturdy, ensuring excellent storability and high transportability. The fruits contain a high percentage of lycopene, enhancing their nutritional value. The number of locules in the fruits ranges from four to six, and the taste is rated as good, suitable for fresh consumption.

Hybrid Maricha exhibits high resistance to a complex of diseases and tolerates elevated temperatures well, which contributes to high fruit set and uniform fruiting. It is recommended for cultivation both in open ground and under plastic coverings, including plastic greenhouses. Commercial yield in open ground reaches 3.2 kg per square meter, making this tomato attractive for obtaining high-quality early harvests.
