Tomato Alaya Caravella is a medium-maturing hybrid intended for cultivation in protected ground. The plant is tall with a dense stem and green leaves, requiring staking and flower cluster formation. From germination to the beginning of fruit ripening takes approximately 105-110 days, allowing harvest from July to the end of August. Plants form beautiful, dense clusters, each containing 8 to 11 fruits.
Tomato fruits have a slightly oval or elliptical shape, bright red color, and weigh between 130 to 170 grams. They are dense, resistant to cracking and splitting, making them suitable for fresh consumption as well as for whole-fruit canning. Due to their characteristics, Alaya Caravella tomatoes have an attractive appearance and good transportability.
The variety shows resistance to cladosporium and tobacco mosaic virus, enhancing its reliability and reducing the risk of crop loss. It is recommended for cultivation in various regions, including Northern, Northwestern, Central, Volga-Vyatka, North Caucasus, Ural, and others, demonstrating its adaptability to different climatic conditions.
