DescriptionORLOVSKY VP 2
Rootstock "Orlovsky VP-2" is clonal and seedling material for cherry, cherry plum, plum, apricot, and other stone fruits. The tree is of medium height, upright, with shoots of medium thickness and branching brownish-gray branches. Leaves are elliptical, dark green, crinkled, with finely serrated edges.
The key advantage of this rootstock is high rooting of green cuttings (90–95%) and excellent adaptation to different varieties. It quickly begins fruiting, providing an average yield of 84 to 150 kg/ha. The trees have good winter hardiness and resistance to cockle, making them suitable for a wide range of climatic conditions.
Rootstock "Orlovsky VP-2" is widely used in horticulture as material for grafting stone fruit trees. Thanks to excellent compatibility with different varieties and disease resistance, it ensures plant longevity, high yields, and stable development of fruit trees.
