Description 54 118
Rootstock of the apple variety 54‑118 is a semi-dwarf material of Russian selection, specifically developed for winter grafting. It is characterized by high resistance to low temperatures and good compatibility with main apple varieties, making it an ideal choice for orchards in the Forest-Steppe, Polesie, and Prykarpattia regions.

Trees grown on such a rootstock quickly adapt to the soil, demonstrating intense growth. By the 3rd-4th year after planting one-year seedlings, they begin to bear fruit, and root suckers form very little, which facilitates orchard care and reduces the need for constant support. Tree height is easily maintained within 3‑3.3 m using lowering pruning.

The rootstock has medium growth, stem thickness ranges from 7 to 11 mm, and seedling length is from 70 to 100 cm. A pack contains 50 pieces and is designed for convenient transportation and planting. Due to its structure and characteristics, the rootstock ensures stable growth and development of apple trees, providing high yield and fruit quality.
