MAS 90F — a medium-early sunflower hybrid with a vegetation period of 105-110 days, featuring high yield potential up to 50 centners per hectare and high oil content in seeds, reaching 51%. Medium-height plants with a characteristic flower head shape, 1000-seed mass varies from 50 to 72 grams depending on batch. The hybrid exhibits high germination energy (around 97%) and high seed uniformity, ensuring reliable and even emergence upon sowing.
MAS 90F is well-adapted to various soil-climate conditions, including the Forest-Steppe and Steppe zones of Ukraine. It is drought- and cold-resistant, enabling successful cultivation at early sowing dates. The hybrid demonstrates adaptability to soil types and consistently delivers high yields under varying weather conditions. For optimal productivity, classical soil preparation and mineral fertilizer application are recommended.
A key feature of MAS 90F is its high resistance to sunflower downy mildew, rated A–G, significantly reducing the risk of yield loss. Seeds are supplied in original elite seed category, packed in bags of 9–11 kg, each containing approximately 150,000 seeds. The hybrid is also resistant to lodging, simplifying harvest and improving raw material quality.
