This hybrid is characterized by high resistance to drought, heat, and several diseases, including five strains of downy mildew, rust, white root rot, gray mold, and Phomopsis, confirmed by high resistance ratings (8 to 9).
Medium to tall plant with a straight stem and a downward-facing flower head with a diameter of about 22 cm. Seeds are black, narrowly egg-shaped, medium to large size, with faint gray stripes. Oil content of the seeds varies from 47% to 53%, making the hybrid high-oil. The vegetation period ranges from 105 to 110 days, classifying the variety as late-maturing and very late-maturing.
Recommended planting density depends on the climatic zone: in adequately watered zones, 55-75 thousand plants per hectare is optimal, in water-deficient zones — 50-65 thousand plants per hectare. Seeds are processed and packaged according to international standards, ensuring high quality planting material. Yield of the hybrid can reach 45-52 ц/га depending on growing conditions, making IMITOP a profitable choice for farmers seeking a stable and high sunflower yield.
