Delicio CLP

Delicio CLP sunflower is a mid-late hybrid developed using Clearfield Plus technology, which provides high effectiveness against weeds using Euro-Lightning Plus and Pulsar Plus herbicides. These products have improved formulations and adjuvants, enhancing leaf retention and reducing pesticide load. Clearfield Plus technology suits both novice and experienced farmers, ensuring reliable weed control without harming sunflower crops. Delicio CLP hybrid exhibits high resistance to Striga species A–G and tolerance to major sunflower diseases such as Phomopsis, Phomopsis, stem and cupped forms of white mold, and false powdery mildew due to the presence of the PL6 gene. It has high oil content (47–50%), making it particularly valuable for producing high-oleic oil. The hybrid’s yield potential is rated at 9 points, with good yield stability and high drought tolerance, enabling successful cultivation under various climatic conditions. Delicio CLP is recommended for cultivation in forest-steppe and steppe zones (central and northern), with optimal sowing times from medium to late. Sowing rates depend on soil moisture: 50–55 thousand seeds per hectare under insufficient moisture, and 55–60 thousand under adequate moisture. Heat and drought tolerance, along with broad climatic adaptability, make this hybrid a versatile choice for farmers seeking a stable and high-yield sunflower crop with high oil content.
