Description ARNETES SU
Sunflower Arnetes SU is a mid-season hybrid developed for cultivation using SU (sulfur) technology. This hybrid is characterized by high yield and oil content, especially under drought conditions, making it an optimal choice for semi-intensive and extensive conditions in the Steppe and Southern Forest Steppe regions. Seeds are supplied in packages of 150,000 units, sufficient for sowing on areas ranging from 2.2 to 2.5 hectares. Recommended planting density varies depending on moisture levels and region: 45-50 thousand plants per hectare under insufficient moisture, and 55-60 thousand plants per hectare under adequate moisture.

The hybrid exhibits high resistance to races of downy mildew A-F, as well as to diseases such as fusarium, fusariosis, gray and white mold, and false powdery mildew. Additionally, Arnetes SU features excellent pollen shedding, high resistance to lodging, and rapid seed head drying at maturity, facilitating harvest. The seed head diameter ranges from 17 to 22 centimeters, promoting effective seed formation.

Oil content in Arnetes SU sunflower seeds reaches 51-55%, with potential yields of up to 50 centners per hectare (or 5 tons per hectare). The hybrid is produced by the German company KWS and is designed for use in agrotechnologies focused on drought and disease resistance, ensuring stable and high yields even under challenging climatic conditions.
