Rosa 'Samara Anniversary' is a medium-sized variety with a moderate maturation period and versatile applications. The bush is vigorous and of medium height (up to 2.5 m), densely foliated, with light green canes that are not pubescent and have a straight structure. Thorns are located at the lower part of the cane, perpendicular to it, small, single, weak, and light-colored. Leaves are of medium size, green in color, with a smooth surface and blunt teeth.
Fruits of this variety have a medium weight (1.8–4 g) and an elongated shape, colored light red or red. Skin is of medium thickness, shiny, without pubescence. Inside – sour-sweet flesh with a bright aroma. Fruits are rich in vitamins: vitamin C content reaches 2560 mg % of the daily norm, and vitamin A – 27 mg. Thanks to this, Rosa 'Anniversary' is widely used both in cooking (drying, jam) and in folk medicine.
The bush is characterized by high resistance to diseases, frost hardiness, and heat resistance, as well as unpretentiousness: for maximum yield, a sufficient amount of heat and sunlight is required. It is recommended to plant in open areas, preferably on small elevations to ensure good lighting. The distance between plants should be 1.5–2 m, planting depth – about 30 cm. Yield is approximately 64.4 c/ha, and flowering time is June, with possible secondary autumn flowering.
