Petunia Assol

Petunia «Assol» – a bright and hardy bedding plant that will bring rich purple accents to your garden or balcony. Bushes grow to a height of 15 to 30 cm, while medium-sized flowers reach a diameter of about 12 cm, arranged in beautiful funnel-shaped bouquets that create a dense and continuous carpet of blooms from June until the onset of frost. Leaves are oval-shaped with a dark green hue, and the branched structure of the plant allows it to grow well horizontally, adding fullness to compositions.

«Assol» is distinguished by its ease of care: the plant prefers sunny spots and regular watering but does not require complex procedures. It can be grown both in an open flower bed and in containers – vases, planters, or hanging baskets, where it will delight the eye all season. When planting after the threat of frost has passed, it is recommended to plant at a depth of 0.1–0.3 m with subsequent soil compaction.

Among the advantages of «Assol» are high cold hardiness and early flowering, making it an ideal choice for those who want to see results quickly. Plants easily spread in width, but the shoots remain quite weak, so they sometimes need pruning to maintain a compact appearance. Regular feeding until the end of flowering maintains the brightness and longevity of bouquets, while removing faded flowers promotes further growth of new ones.
