Peony BASHKIR SOUVENIR

Stability and Aesthetics in Every Bush

The 'Bashkirsky Suvenir' peony is the result of extensive breeding by experts at the Ufa Federal Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, led by Lidia Nikolayevna Strelyaeva. Developed specifically to withstand harsh climatic conditions, its performance characteristics impress even professional gardeners.

Growing Conditions and Resilience

The primary advantage of this variety is its exceptional frost resistance (down to -40°C). For the grower, this means minimal risk of losing stock during snowless winters. Unlike delicate imported hybrids, 'Bashkirsky Suvenir' requires no complex winter covers or yearly intensive care. It thrives when planted in sunny, well-drained garden locations.

Key Features and Application

• Blooming: The mid-season bloom window (May 31 – June 15) ensures it peaks during the heart of the gardening season. The double pink flowers maintain their aesthetic appeal throughout their life cycle.
• Dimensions: With a height of 70 cm, the plant remains compact and sturdy, eliminating the need for mandatory staking or cumbersome supports, which significantly simplifies maintenance.
• Versatility: Thanks to its strong stems, this variety is perfect for floral arrangements. In a vase, the blooms hold their freshness for a long time without losing their dense petal structure. In the garden, it serves as a reliable element for landscape design, flower beds, and focal points.

'Bashkirsky Suvenir' is the choice for those who value predictable results and robust selection adapted for real-world open-field cultivation.
