The Bennito onion is a mid-late, two-chamber hybrid that can be grown both as a one-year crop from seeds and as a two-year crop from seedlings. When grown from seedlings, bulbs reach a mass of up to 300 grams, while when grown from seeds, they reach up to 90 grams. The bulbs are round, very dense, with a semi-sharp taste. The dry scales are colored yellow-bronze or light brown, and the flesh is white and juicy.

Sowing seeds is recommended at the end of April to the beginning of May at a depth of 1.0-1.5 cm using a planting scheme of 7-10x20 cm.
