Description Vesna
The hybrid cucumber variety SPRING is a cold-resistant early-maturing hybrid of the Miss Pickler type, developed by Canadian selection, intended for cultivation in open ground and under plastic coverings. This hybrid is characterized by its compact fruit size and matures on average in 40-45 days. The plants exhibit rapid and vigorous early growth, ensuring abundant fruiting even under adverse conditions. The cucumbers are bee-pollinated with partial parthenocarpy, promoting stable fruit set.

The fruits of the SPRING cucumber are 6-8 cm long, large-buckled, white-tipped, and have a bright dark green color without whitening. They are distinguished by high flavor quality, do not overgrow, and possess excellent pickling qualities. Due to the uniform size of the gherkins, the harvest can be used without sorting for canning, including in small jars. These features make this variety one of the best for barrel pickling, marinating, and other preservation methods.

The plants are vigorous with good branching ability, forming 2-4 fruits per node, which contributes to high yield. The cucumbers are versatile, suitable for both fresh consumption and processing. The fruit flavor quality is high, without bitterness, making this variety attractive to gardeners and home canners.
