Description CLAVDIA UD
Cucumber Clavdia F1 is a medium-early parthenocarpic hybrid designed for cultivation both in open ground and in greenhouses. The period from germination to the first harvest is 45 to 55 days, ensuring an early and stable yield. Plants are strong, climbing, with an indeterminate growth type and predominantly female flowering, which promotes the formation of clusters of 3 or more fruits in a single leaf axil. Leaves are green, slightly wrinkled, with average foliage. The hybrid tolerates shade well, allowing cultivation even on balconies and windowsills.

Cucumber Clavdia fruits have a cylindrical shape, 10-12 cm long and 3-4 cm in diameter, weighing 65 to 90 grams. The fruits are straight, dense, slightly ribbed, covered with dense hairs and small bumps. The skin varies from green to dark green with light spots and stripes reaching one-third of the fruit. The spines are white and non-prickly. The flesh is juicy, crisp, aromatic, slightly sweet in taste, and completely free of bitterness. Seeds are small, even in overripe fruits, making cucumbers especially attractive for pickling and canning.

The hybrid Clavdia is characterized by high commercial yield, reaching up to 20 kg per square meter under favorable conditions, with a yield of marketable product at 80-92%. It fruits until frost, but is warm-loving, and fruiting stops when temperatures drop, requiring greenhouse cultivation in northern regions. Among the advantages of this variety are high fruit quality, early and consistent harvest, broad resistance to diseases, and stable yield under sharp temperature fluctuations. Harvesting is recommended daily, and twice daily during heavy fruiting to increase plant productivity.
