Cucumber Miroslava

Stable Yields in Glass Greenhouses

The «Miroslava» cucumber from Rijk Zwaan is a professional-grade hybrid designed for high-tech protected cultivation. It is primarily used in commercial glass greenhouses, where consistent output and premium fruit quality are essential for business success.

Agronomic Protection and Resilience

The main driver for choosing «Miroslava» is its robust resistance profile against pathogens that typically devastate greenhouse crops. During intensive production cycles, the hybrid effectively withstands cladosporiosis and powdery mildew. Furthermore, it offers significant resistance to plant viruses, including those causing leaf yellowing and curling. This biological resilience allows agronomists to reduce the frequency of pesticide applications, minimizing both costs and environmental impact.

Fruit Quality and Marketability

The fruits reach a length of 15–20 cm and feature a vibrant green color, making them highly desirable for retail chains. Their dense structure ensures excellent shelf life and durability during transport, which is critical for large-scale distribution. When grown under optimized climatic conditions, «Miroslava» provides a consistent harvest of uniform, marketable fruits throughout the entire fruiting period.
