Blyuz

Cucumber Blue F1 is an early-maturing parthenocarpic hybrid developed by the breeders of the company Gavriš. This variety is intended for cultivation in film-covered and industrial greenhouses, as well as under light culture with illumination of at least 15,000 Lux. The plant is strong-growing with an open habit, forming one to two fruits per node, which ensures stable and abundant fruiting during the spring-summer-autumn period. Cucumber Blue fruits have a cylindrical shape, 10 to 12 centimeters long, weighing approximately 100–120 grams. Their distinguishing feature is a very dark green color with faint stripes covering up to one-third of the fruit length. The fruit surface is slightly bumpy with medium-sized white-tipped bumps, distributed fairly densely, giving them an attractive commercial appearance. Cucumbers of this variety are distinguished by excellent quality, making them popular both for fresh consumption and pickling. The Blue hybrid exhibits high resistance to major cucumber diseases, including true powdery mildew and olive spot, as well as moderate resistance to false powdery mildew. Thanks to these characteristics and stable growth of medium-sized leaves, this variety ensures a reliable yield and is easy to manage in terms of agronomy. Limited fruit growth in length facilitates harvesting and transportation, making Blue an excellent choice for farmers and greenhouse complexes.
