SINDBAD

SINDBAD is an early-maturing parthenocarpic cucumber hybrid, distinguished by its high yield and exceptional flavor. The vegetative period ranges from 38 to 45 days, depending on growing conditions. Fruits are cylindrical, with smooth, glossy dark green skin, measuring approximately 10-17 cm in length and 85 to 150 g in weight. They possess a pleasant aroma and crisp texture, making them ideal for fresh consumption, salads, and slicing.

The SINDBAD hybrid is suitable for cultivation both in open ground and in protected environments, including all types of greenhouses. Plants are medium-branched with female flowers, forming up to four fruiting nodes per node, which contributes to high yield. Sowing for seedlings is recommended in early May, followed by transplanting into the ground at the end of May to early June, when seedlings reach the 2-3 true leaf stage.

A key advantage of this hybrid is its high resistance to major cucumber diseases, such as powdery mildew, cucumber mosaic virus, and yellow vein virus, as well as tolerance to downy mildew and cucumber mosaic virus. Seeds retain germination capacity for up to 7 years under proper storage conditions, ensuring reliable and consistent yields over multiple seasons.
