SKYFEM'S EMERALDS — this is an early-maturing parthenocarpic cucumber hybrid, intended for cultivation in greenhouse conditions. The plant is medium-height and female-flowering, capable of forming up to four fruits per node. The period from germination to fruiting onset is 40-44 days, enabling a rapid harvest. Sowing for seedlings is recommended in early May, and transplanting into the ground should occur at the end of May or beginning of June, when the seedlings have developed 2-3 true leaves.
The fruits of SKYFEM'S EMERALDS cucumber have a cylindrical shape, dark green color, and are covered with frequent bumps and white hairs. The length of the fruits is 11-13 cm, and the weight is 100-120 grams. They are characterized by juiciness, crisp texture, aroma, and excellent taste. Such cucumbers are ideal for making summer salads, slicing, pickling, and marinating, making them versatile in culinary applications.
The hybrid exhibits high resistance to major cucumber diseases, including olive spot and true powdery mildew. Additionally, it is tolerant to false powdery mildew and cucumber mosaic virus (CMV), ensuring stable fruiting and high-quality harvest even under adverse growing conditions.
