Curaçao F1 carrot is an early-maturing hybrid of the Chantenay type, developed by the Dutch company Bejo Zaden. This variety is characterized by high adaptability to various weather conditions and soil types, making it suitable for cultivation throughout Ukraine. The vegetation period lasts approximately 90-105 days, making it one of the ultra-early hybrids. The roots have a rich orange-yellow color, conical shape with a rounded tip, length of 13 to 18 cm, and diameter of 4-5 cm, with weight ranging from 100 to 200 grams. The carrots are distinguished by high marketability, uniformity, and absence of green "shoulders" at the base.

Curaçao F1 hybrid has several important advantages: resistance to cracking and greening, which is especially valuable under adverse weather conditions such as rain and heat. The carrots are highly productive — with proper care, 5 to 7 kg of product can be obtained per square meter. The fruits are juicy, with high juice content (about 380 ml per kg of carrot) and sugar content (Brix around 8.4%), ensuring excellent taste qualities. Dry matter content reaches 11.9%, making the carrots suitable for various processing and storage methods.

Curaçao F1 is versatile in application: its roots are suitable for fresh consumption, as well as for canning, freezing, making purees, juices, and salads. The hybrid tolerates mechanical harvesting well and is suitable for washing and packaging, facilitating its sale in fresh markets. To increase yield, it is recommended to follow crop rotation, loosen and moisten the soil, and conduct protective measures against pests and weeds. Due to its stress resistance and stable yield, Curaçao F1 carrot is an excellent choice for farmers and home gardeners.
