Kamaran F1 — a high-yielding hybrid carrot of the Berlikum type, intended for cultivation in open ground across various regions of Ukraine, especially in central and southern areas. The vegetation period is approximately 135 days, making it a medium-ripening variety. The roots have a cylindrical, pointed shape with a length-to-diameter ratio of about 22.5 cm by 5 cm and weigh between 200 and 300 grams. They are characterized by uniformity, intense orange color, and high flesh density, ensuring excellent taste and high concentrations of dry matter and carotene. The hybrid’s leafy canopy is robust, with dark green, strong, healthy stems about 40 cm tall, exhibiting high resistance to diseases such as alternaria, false powdery mildew, and blossom end rot. Kamaran F1 also demonstrates high resistance to cracking, enabling mechanical harvest without quality loss. The hybrid shows excellent storability when sown in summer, making it convenient for long-term storage and processing. This variety is versatile and suitable for processing, canning, and freezing, and due to its juicy, sweet flesh, it is ideal for juice production. For successful cultivation, it is recommended to follow sowing norms of 0.6–0.9 million seeds per hectare under moist soil conditions, avoiding overcrowding. The hybrid requires soil loosening, regular watering, and root fertilization to ensure maximum yield and root quality.
