Ablixo F1

Carrot Ablixo F1 is an early, high-yielding hybrid with a vegetation period of about 110 days, developed by breeders of the Seminis company from the Netherlands. The roots have a conical shape with broad shoulders and a blunt tip, with a length of 18-20 cm and a diameter of 4-6 cm. The skin is smooth, and the color is vivid orange-red both inside and out. The flesh is dense, juicy, and sweet, with a high concentration of dry matter and carotene, making this variety especially suitable for juice production.

This hybrid is optimal for machine harvesting and is suitable for fresh consumption and freezing in cubes. Carrot Ablixo F1 has high flavor quality, is not prone to cracking, and has good storability, especially when sown in summer. For successful cultivation, it is recommended to sow into very moist soil while maintaining optimal density — 0.6-0.8 million plants per hectare for industrial production and 1.0-1.5 million for bunch production. Soil loosening, watering, and root fertilization are important.

The plant belongs to the biennial umbelliferous crops, forming leaves and roots in the first year, and stems and seeds in the second. The root system extends to a depth of 1–1.5 meters, with the majority of roots located at 45–70 cm. Carrot Ablixo F1 is very light-demanding, and overcrowded sowing can lead to elongated roots, so it is essential to follow agronomic recommendations to achieve a quality harvest.
