Bee balm VIKTULYA

Cultivation Practice: Monarda 'Viktuliya'

If you are looking for a crop that combines visual aesthetics with minimal maintenance, 'Viktuliya' is the case where the plant works for you, not the other way around. As an operator of your plot, you will immediately appreciate the stability of this variety. It is not a fickle imported hybrid, but a proven selection from the Federal Scientific Center for Vegetable Growing, adapted to local climate conditions.

Operation and Maintenance

The main asset of this Monarda is the length of its "work cycle." The flowering period lasts 50–70 days, which is an excellent productivity indicator for aromatic herbs. You won't have to constantly monitor it: the variety is undemanding regarding soil composition and does not require complex fertilization schedules.

• Decorative Potential: Ideally suited for filling flower beds. The bushes maintain their shape without falling over, eliminating the need for additional stakes or support structures.
• Maintenance: Basic irrigation during dry spells and sanitary pruning at the end of the season cover the entire list of routine tasks.
• Resilience and Propagation: The variety handles bush division perfectly, allowing you to multiply the crop yourself without additional capital investment in new planting material.

Water consumption is moderate, and the plant handles temperature fluctuations well. 'Viktuliya' is a rational choice for those who want to keep their property well-maintained without spending every weekend managing the needs of high-maintenance decorative plants.
